Hi, I’m Claire.
Having established Hibiscus Floral Design, specialising in wedding flowers, I wanted to bring my years of experience in floral design, relaxed signature style and highly personalised service to the creation of funeral flower arrangements.
It seemed funeral floral tributes didn’t always reflect the life of the person they were celebrating, and Solace Flowers was born out of my desire to do something about it.
I knew the range of flowers available throughout the year was so much broader than those traditionally associated with funerals, and there were many ways to express a loved one’s uniqueness through thoughtful design.
My country studio in Warwickshire and the natural world influence my contemporary designs, but my biggest inspiration is always the stories and insights from the families I work with.
